2. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Description

  • Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs, and analyze, review, and report on┬á effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.
  • Defining strategies to trigger lead generation from every activity / promotion conducted, contributing to customer conversion.
  • Explore and define strategies to engage visitors┬á in the online social media space. Understand the technique and technology that enable in strengthening the customer relationship, thus┬á contributing richly to customer relationship management.
  • Plan social media campaigns, ensuring customer acquisition and supporting monetization.
  • Monitor trends in online community tools, trends and applications.
  • Monitor the competition and be aware of market changes and developments.
  • Research the online space to understand it thoroughly. Constantly monitor the social media and provide insights gained from it to the Marketing and Editorial teams. Help them evolve┬á┬á┬á┬á┬á┬á┬á their strategies in a timely manner.
  • Manage a Blogger outreach program and build an active brand ambassador network to spread the word about the Company.
3. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: Define the skills, knowledge and experience specific to the job in question (includes generic skills)
  • Advanced knowledge and and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Digg, Youtube, Twitter, Flickr etc.) and how they can be deployed in┬á┬á┬á┬á┬á┬á┬á different scenarios.
  • Great technical understanding and an ability to pick up new tools quickly.
  • Have a good knowledge of principles of SEO and PR.
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format to board level, and build and maintain relationships.
  • Knowledge of blogging ecosystem relevant to the CompanyÔÇÖs field.
  • Graduate in any related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in design, online and digital marketing.
  • Experience in online community management and/or social media marketing.
  • Must have a strong interest in the world of Social Media.
  • Must have an understanding of the exciting opportunities Social Media offers brands and businesses.
  • Strong conceptual skills, including online software concepts and online experience concepts.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks of varying complexities, while meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills.
  • Desire to constantly stay current in this fast evolving field.
  • Must be able to take direction and work independently, when required.
  • Possess good verbal & written English communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
